A Memorial Service was held at St Mary's Northchurch on Tuesday 2nd February at 12.30pm

"May her body rest in peace
And may her spirit dance in the Elysian Fields"

Charles Craddock

Charles Craddock, one of our vice-presidents, passed away on Sept 11 2006 after a long illness. He loved Latin and was a great admirer and supporter of our society. The family asked that donations at the funeral were made to ARLT.

A Memorial Service was held at St. Mary and All Saints Church, Old Beaconsfield on Friday 17th November at 2.30. See the invitation as a PDF here.


Louie Gravett

Louie died on 9th Sept 2006. She fought for many years with great courage the Parkinson's disease which finally caused her death. Louis was ARLT Secretary and was married to Jim Gravett who was at one time ARLT's treasurer.

Liz Teague

Liz died in July 2006, joining Mike who died a year or two ago. They met at an ARLT Summer School, and jointly acted as Summer School Secretary.

Angela Felgate

We are very sad to announce the death of Angela Felgate at the early age of 55. Angela was an active and valued member of the Association until prevented by illness from active participation. She has left the Association a generous legacy to be used for bursaries to those attending their first Summer School.

William Thompson.

We are sad to announce the death of William Thompson, Classics teacher and Vice President of ARLT on 12th February 2007, aged 90. An appreciation by Wilf O'Neil is here.

Belinda Dennis
